Installation
How to Install the Chakow Dual
- Step 1: Remove your existing toilet seat by unscrewing the bolts underneath the rim
- Step 2: Fit the T-valve onto your toilet's cold water supply inlet using the standard half inch BSP fitting
- Step 3: Connect the cold water hose from the T-valve to the cold inlet on the bidet unit
- Step 4: Connect the hot water hose from your bathroom sink's hot water outlet to the warm inlet on the bidet unit. If your toilet is more than 2.7 metres from the sink, fit the included block-off cap here instead
- Step 5: Reinstall the toilet seat, turn both water supplies back on, and adjust the aluminium knob to your preferred temperature

How does the warm water connection work?
The Dual connects to your bathroom sink's hot water outlet using the hose in the box, then blends it with your cold water supply at the spray head. It works the same way a mixer tap does. Your toilet needs to be within around 2.7 metres of your sink for the warm water to work. If it is further away, fit the included block-off cap and use the Dual on cold water only.
What temperature does the warm water reach?
It depends on your boiler settings. The Dual mixes whatever temperature your sink's hot supply delivers with your cold mains water. Most combi boilers run hot water at around 55 to 60 degrees Celsius, which mixes down to a comfortably warm spray. You set the exact temperature yourself using the aluminium knob.
Can I install the Chakow Dual myself?

Does the Dual use electricity?
